Vanaf donderdag 20 december is bepaalde informatie op waalwijk.nl beschikbaar in het Engels en Pools. Het gaat om informatie van belang voor onze (nieuwe) inwoners die geen of slecht Nederlands spreken en/of lezen. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan informatie over het aanbieden van afval of informatie over immigreren of verhuizen naar het buitenland.
Inwonerspanel
Eén van de punten uit het inwonerspanel ‘Digitale dienstverlening’, is aandacht voor onze inwoners die geen of slecht Nederlands spreken en/of lezen. Deze extra service is één van de dingen waar we mee aan de slag gingen. Kijk eens op www.waalwijk.nl/english en www.waalwijk.nl/polski
Voordelen
De Engelse en Poolse informatie op de website biedt voor de gemeente ook voordelen. Zo is het voor ons lastig wanneer arbeidsmigranten zich niet uitschrijven als ze weer uit Nederland vertrekken. Met de Engels- en Pools-talige informatie hopen we zaken helder te maken voor onze inwoners.
Information on website in English and Polish
Starting today, certain information on waalwijk.nl will be available in English and Polish. The information is for our (new) residents who have insufficient –or no- knowledge of the Dutch language. What kind of information? For example: information about depositing waste or information on immigration or moving to a foreign country.

English and Polish information on the website provides advantages for the municipality too. It is difficult for us when migrant workers don’t deregister when they leave the Netherlands. We hope that by adding information in English and Polish, we make things clearer for our residents.

Od dzisiaj określone informacje na stronie waalwijk.nl są dostępne również w języku angielskim i polskim. Chodzi o informacje istotne dla naszych (nowych) mieszkańców, którzy nie mówią (dość dobrze) ani nie czytają po niderlandzku. Są to na przykład informacje na temat pozostawiania odpadów lub informacje dotyczące imigracji lub przeprowadzki za granicę.

Informacje w języku angielskim i polskim zawarte na stronie internetowej wiążą się również z korzyściami dla gminy. Problemem jest dla nas na przykład to, że imigranci zarobkowi nie wyrejestrowują się w momencie wyjazdu z Holandii. Dzięki informacjom w języku angielskim i polskim mamy nadzieję, że pewne kwestie staną się bardziej zrozumiałe dla naszych mieszkańców.
